Weeks 1-2
Every great build starts with a genuine conversation. We want to understand how you live, what you envision, and what success looks like for your family before a single line is drawn.
"Every project starts with listening. We want to understand the priorities behind the build before we ever talk about materials or schedules."
Micah Barney, Founder

Weeks 3-10
This is where your vision starts to take shape. We work with your architect or our design partners to produce construction ready drawings and guide every finish selection so there are no surprises.
Initial floor plan and elevations presented for feedback.
Guided walkthrough of material, fixture, and finish choices.
Construction ready documents signed and approved.
Formal agreement, timeline, and payment schedule confirmed.

Weeks 8-14
The behind the scenes work that sets every build up for success. While permitting moves through the county, our team is building schedules, locking in trusted subcontractors, and staging materials.
Permit timelines vary by county. Greenville typically runs 4-6 weeks and Spartanburg 3-5 weeks.

Months 3-12+
This is where Grander builds its reputation. Our team remains closely involved throughout construction, coordinating trusted trade partners, maintaining the schedule, and upholding a consistent standard of craftsmanship at every stage of the build.
Custom homes typically take 8 to 14 months. Outdoor structures typically take 6 to 12 weeks.
Weekly updates with no radio silence.
Core team employed directly and managed to one quality bar.
Written approval required before any change affects cost.
Milestone checks at framing, rough in, and pre drywall.

Final 2-4 weeks
We do not consider a project done until you are completely satisfied. The final phase is a detailed walkthrough, punch list, and formal handover followed by genuine ongoing support as you settle in.
"The closeout phase is about accountability. Details get reviewed, systems are explained, and we make sure everything performs the way it was intended before we hand over the keys."
Micah Barney, Founder
